On the occasion of VivaTech’s 10th anniversary, ALCYCONIE had the honor of attending the reception held at the Élysée Palace, bringing together ministers, entrepreneurs, researchers, investors and representatives of the French Tech Mission who shape the French innovation ecosystem.
Ten years after its creation, VivaTech illustrates the road traveled by French tech and is a reminder of the challenges ahead: scaling up, strengthening innovation capacity and building genuine technological sovereignty at the European level.
“Don’t give up”: President Emmanuel Macron’s message to tech entrepreneurs
This was the strong message delivered by President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron to all the entrepreneurs in attendance.
In ten years, France has succeeded in building a recognized ecosystem, developing an entrepreneurial culture and creating a favorable framework for innovation. These achievements form a solid foundation that must now be consolidated.
The challenge now lies in scaling up. While France ranks among Europe’s leaders in innovation, it must still strengthen its funding capabilities and support the emergence of champions capable of competing with the United States and China.
The relevant scale is no longer just national: it is European.

An ambition that resonates with ALCYCONIE’s commitment
Alongside several cybersecurity players present at the Élysée Palace (Glimps, YesWeHack, Memority, Label4AI, Jizo AI…), and in the presence of several ministers (Anne Le Hénanff, Catherine Vautrin, Serge Papin) as well as former minister Clara Chappaz, ALCYCONIE represented an industry that has become strategic for our country’s sovereignty.
For nearly eight years, we have been supporting the most critical organizations in strengthening their resilience against cyber threats. Because protecting infrastructure, data and information systems also means preserving our collective ability to innovate, decide and remain in control of our future.
“Don’t give up.”
These three words resonate particularly with the daily reality of entrepreneurs and leaders. Because to undertake, innovate, invest and create value is precisely that: never giving up.
The President of the Republic summed it up in another phrase: “It is through innovators that our independence is built.”
At ALCYCONIE, we will continue to play our part in this collective effort.
Never giving up.
Today.
Tomorrow.
The day after.
