A total of €3.4 million in funding for Alcyconie

Saint-Malo, February 20, 2024

Alcyconie, the French specialist in cyber resilience and cyber crisis management preparedness, has obtained €1.4 million in non-dilutive financing from a banking pool composed of Bpifrance and two banks with a territorial dimension with the Caisse d’Epargne Bretagne and an international dimension with BNP PARIBAS.

The French company has thus completed a global financing of €3.4 million, initiated by a €2 million fundraising round from CyberK1, the investment vehicle of the Klecha & Co bank.

Alcyconie has great ambitions for the coming years

Created by Stéphanie Ledoux in 2018, Alcyconie supports all organizations in their cyber resilience strategy by preparing them for crisis management, through consulting, training and training services in the management of cyber crises in real situations.

2023 was a year of strong growth for Alcyconie:

  • 135 cyber crisis simulation exercises in France and abroad carried out on its PIA® training platform with organizations of all sizes and from all sectors of activity, including OIVs (operators of vital importance) and OSEs (operators of essential services), local authorities and health organizations, players in the industrial world and finance.
  • A strengthened workforce, with now 22 employees (8 in 2022) divided between Alcyconie’s headquarters in Saint-Malo and the Cyber Campus of Paris-La Défense. Several recruitments are planned within the Product, Consulting and Marketing teams in 2024.

Since its creation, Alcyconie has trained 2500 people in cyber crisis management. The company now supports more than 90 clients, including major French and international organizations, and aims to establish itself as the European leader in cyber resilience.

These new investments will enable Alcyconie to accelerate its consulting activity and enrich its offer with the launch of a new cyber crisis management platform adapted to degraded situations. This SaaS solution will give organizations the means to communicate and organize themselves quickly when their information system is attacked.

Adeline Manneheut – Innovation Project Manager at Caisse d’Epargne Bretagne says: “We are pleased to support Alcyconie in its ambition to develop in France and internationally, on issues as critical as the resilience of organizations in the face of cyber attacks.”

Alcyconie wins the trust of renowned French investors

A French player, financed by its founder and CEO, Stéphanie Ledoux, Alcyconie has raised €2 million in 2023 from Cyber K1 (the investment vehicle of the Klecha & Co bank), with a minority stake.

Stéphane Klecha – Founder and Chairman of the investment bank Klecha & Co says: “The acceleration phase in which Alcyconie finds itself and its ability to attract the interest of major financial players are excellent signals for the cybersecurity ecosystem in France and the resilience of European organizations.”

Stéphanie Ledoux – CEO of Alcyconie concludes: “We are delighted to find prestigious partners to fuel our development ambitions: the international dimension of BNP PARIBAS, the support of a spearhead of innovation such as Bpifrance and the territorial anchoring of the Caisse d’Epargne are valuable assets to achieve our objectives in France and internationally”.
