Cyber Booster’s mission: To bring out the future European champions of cyber

A year ago, Alcyconie joined Cyber Booster, the first support system for startups dedicated to cybersecurity in France, supported by specialized players: Axeleo and Le Poool.

Within France 2030, a national acceleration strategy for cybersecurity has been put in place with an initial budget of one billion euros to develop the cybersecurity sector. It is in this dynamic that Cyber Booster was created at the end of 2021, a unique program operated from the Cyber Campus Paris La Défense and in Rennes.

Cyber Booster is an initiative that is part of the national Cyber strategy. The program aims to contribute to digital sovereignty by supporting startups to bring out the future European champions of cybersecurity.

Beyond the support program, Cyber Booster also aims to become a real hub for innovation in cyber by bringing together different types of players: ANSSI, DGA, Cyber Excellence Cluster, Cisco, a network of experts and mentors, etc.

The Cyber Booster program is built in 3 stages:

  • The “Set-Up” phase lasts one month which is a kind of preparatory class to convince of one’s potential.
  • The “Build” phase lasts 4 months, one of the most demanding parts where the objective is to build your strategy, product and/or service and to establish projections for the future.
  • The “Run” phase lasts 6 months, which is a personalized follow-up.

Final Pitch 2023 at the Cyber Campus

On June 20th, Cyber Booster brought together more than a hundred people at the Cyber Campus for the Final Pitch. It was an opportunity for the startups that have joined the program to present their solutions to the sector’s emblematic players.

It was in front of an interested audience that Stéphanie Ledoux, CEO of Alcyconie, presented Akymen, our SaaS platform, fully secure and capable of recreating a management and communication environment totally dissociated from the information system of organizations that are victims of a cyberattack.

Currently in the test phase, the latter will allow companies to have a personalized bubble of trust, to track and trace all the events that occurred during the crisis, organize the actions to be taken, and promote rational and perfectly secure information sharing. An offer that appealed to the public, who showed a strong interest in the solutions presented.

Until a few years ago, cyber crisis management was a field little known to the general public. The large-scale cyberattacks of recent years have shown that it is no longer just a technical issue, but also reputational, legal, HR, financial and organizational issues.

Our incubation at Cyber Booster and the valuable support of the various stakeholders in the program demonstrate the appetite of companies and institutions for preparing for and supporting cyber crises. They also underline the relevance of Alcyconie’s offer, backed by consulting and operational platforms.

Being one of the 6 startups incubated in Cyber Booster reinforces our desire to steer cyber crisis management, mitigate its effects and make it a lever for improving the resilience of organizations.

Information systems security (PACS) support and consulting provider qualified by the ANSSI.
