Alcyconie supports all organisations in their cyber resilience strategy
Founded by Stéphanie Ledoux in 2018, Alcyconie supports all organisations in their cyber resilience strategy by preparing them for crisis management through consulting, training and coaching services for managing cyber crises in real-life situations.
The start-up targets both the private sector (OIVs, OSEs, large groups, mid-sized companies) and the public sector (healthcare institutions, local authorities, communities of municipalities, etc.), as well as the defence sector. Alcyconie supports more than 90 clients in France and abroad in dealing with sensitive events they may encounter, such as cyberattacks and data leaks, ransomware, reputation crises, cyber compliance, etc.
At the end of February, the Breton company obtained non-dilutive financing of €1.4 million from Bpifrance, Caisse d’Epargne Bretagne and BNP Paribas, completing a total funding round of €3.4 million, initiated by a fundraising campaign with CyberK1, the investment vehicle of the bank Klecha & Co.
“With the Paris Olympic Games just a few months away and in a changing geopolitical context, we are increasing the number of cyber crisis exercises and seeing high expectations in terms of crisis management support over the summer period,’ comments Stéphanie Ledoux, founder and CEO of Alcyconie. 2024 looks set to be a pivotal year for organisations’ cyber resilience.”
Alcyconie conducted 135 cyber crisis simulation exercises in France and internationally on its PIA® training platform in 2023 and trained 2,500 people in cyber crisis management. It now has 22 employees based at its head office in Saint-Malo and the Paris-La Défense Cyber Campus. Alcyconie is one of the service providers selected by the regional consortium GCS e-santé Bretagne to prepare and train healthcare establishments to deal with cyber crises.
