Want to help drive innovation at Alcyconie? Join us for an internship at the heart of our projects, alongside our COO and our IT Manager, and take on real-world challenges!

Since its founding, Alcyconie has grown around a unique positioning: combining high-level expertise, innovation, and operational excellence in support of business continuity and cyber and digital crisis management.

To support its growth and improve the efficiency of its operations, Alcyconie is continuing to automate and interconnect its internal tools and processes. In this context, we are looking for a development and automation intern to help design, develop, and strengthen the reliability of our workflows, particularly with n8n.

You will work on hands-on projects at the core of the company’s operations: CRM automation, website form integration, operational reporting, data flow and reliability across our various tools, etc.

WHAT WE OFFER

You will build on an existing operational foundation, with workflows already in place and integrations in production, to continue their development and support the scaling up of our operations.

Your role will be to evolve our automation ecosystem, taking over existing developments and designing new integrations that meet the company’s needs.

In practice, you will:

  • Get to grips with the existing setup: understand the n8n workflows already developed, their architecture, the connections between tools, and the integrations in production.
  • Take part in designing automations: analyze needs with the Director of Operations, formalize business rules, and propose suitable technical solutions.
  • Develop new workflows: design, adapt, and enhance n8n automations, drawing in particular on REST APIs, webhooks, JavaScript, and data processing.
  • Connect our business tools: contribute to integrating and synchronizing our various solutions (CRM, web forms, reporting tools, internal applications, etc.).
  • Make automated processes more reliable: implement data checks, error handling, and mechanisms for duplicate prevention, logging, and alerting.
  • Test and deploy solutions: run tests on dummy or anonymized data, fix bugs, and prepare production releases in coordination with the IT team.
  • Document developments and ensure their longevity: produce clear technical documentation, facilitate workflow maintenance, and contribute to their continuous improvement.

The goal: to build automations that are useful, robust, and actually used by the teams every day.

  • Contract type: internship with a signed internship agreement (required).
  • Duration: 6 months.
  • Reports to: Director of Operations, with technical support from the IT team.
  • Stipend: in accordance with applicable rules and your course of study.
  • Training

The position is based in Saint-Malo.

WHAT DEFINES YOU

  • You are pursuing a first- or second-year Master’s degree (M1 or M2) in computer science, software development, software engineering, information systems, or an equivalent technical field, and are looking for a 6-month internship under an internship agreement.
  • You have good programming foundations, particularly in JavaScript, and have mastered the fundamentals of REST APIs, HTTP exchanges, and the JSON format.
  • You are interested in process automation and application integration. Initial hands-on experience with n8n or an equivalent solution is expected, whether through academic, personal, or professional projects.
  • You are able to understand existing code, analyze a need, design a solution, and test that it works properly.
  • You are mindful of development best practices and security issues: access and secrets management, confidentiality, and data protection.
  • You are able to work with technical documentation in English.

A 3-step interview process

Our recruitment process

At Alcyconie, we know that recruitment is a key step, for you as much as for us. It is about building a relationship based on trust, shared values, and the desire to grow together.

At every stage, we make sure our conversations are transparent and constructive.

Our goal is to build a win-win relationship from the very first contact. We firmly believe that recruitment is not just about finding a profile that matches a position: it is above all about creating a collaboration aligned with shared values, where everyone can thrive and contribute to a collective adventure.

A conversation with Laurence, Office Manager & Human Resources

This conversation, held by video call or in person depending on your availability, is designed to get to know you beyond your resume.

Together, we will discuss your professional background, your skills, and your ambitions.

This interview is also a chance to discover what drives you, your values, and what you are looking for in a new opportunity. At the same time, we will present Alcyconie’s history and projects, our missions, our values, and what makes our company unique. This step allows us to confirm an initial fit between your expectations and our vision.

A role-focused interview with your future manager

If your profile matches what we are looking for, you will be invited to a second interview, this time with your future manager.

The technical interview is a crucial step in our recruitment process. Its main purpose is to assess your technical skills in relation to the position, to gauge your ability to solve problems in real or simulated situations, and to understand your approach to technical challenges.

An in-depth discussion with Rayan, IT Manager

This meeting is a central step in our process. It is a sincere and enriching exchange with Stéphanie, who will take the time to understand your motivations, your vision, and how you could contribute to our mission.

You will also have the opportunity to deepen your understanding of our strategy, our culture, and the challenges we aim to tackle.

What’s next?

If our conversations confirm our mutual desire to work together, you will quickly receive an offer. From there, we will support you every step of the way through your onboarding, so that you can join Alcyconie with complete peace of mind.

Ready to write a new chapter with us? We look forward to meeting you and discovering everything you have to offer.

See you soon at Alcyconie!
